Inn Policies

CHECK-IN TIME - Check-in begins at 3 pm although we will do our best to accommodate an earlier check-in time.  You are always welcome to drop your bags and use the facilities and amenities while you wait for your room.  After 6 pm we switch to a self-check-in procedure that is very simple and allows you to have full flexibility without worrying about what time you arrive.

LIQUOR - To enhance your enjoyment of the Inn, we have a full liquor license, and wine, beer, and liquor are available for purchase.  PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS AGAINST THE LAW FOR GUESTS TO CONSUME THEIR OWN ALCOHOL IN ANY COMMON AREAS OF THE INN.

CANCELLATIONS - To avoid a cancellation fee, all reservations must be canceled at least 2 days prior to your arrival date.  We reserve the right to charge for the entire reservation that is not canceled in accordance with this policy, as we are a small Inn and may have turned away business on your behalf.

PETS - We have no size limit for pets! Pets are allowed in Martha Washington, Murphy Brown, and the Kennedy Cottage only.  There is a $20 per stay pet fee that is payable at checkout. Contact us for details.

CHILDREN -  Children are welcome so long as they are under the supervision of a parenting adult at all times, for their safety and the comfort of other guests. Child care is available with advance notice.

CHECK OUT - Check out is at 11:00 A.M.  You are welcome to enjoy our common areas after check-out and we are happy to store your luggage.

SMOKING - We are a non-smoking facility pursuant to State law.  Designated smoking areas are provided on the veranda and back porch. A $100 fee will be charged if there is evidence of smoking in rooms.

BREAKFAST - We offer a complimentary gourmet breakfast every morning. We are able to accommodate most eating restrictions with advance notice. We also always have cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and yogurt parfaits available - just let us know by the night before. Breakfast hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-9:00am and Sat-Sun 9:00am-10:00am.  If you need a to-go breakfast or to eat earlier, let us know in advance and we will be happy to accommodate you.
